THE MISSION OF SPECIAL OLYMPICS:

To provide year-round sports training and athletic competition

in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with

cognitive impairments, giving them continued opportunities

to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience

joy, and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship

with families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.

application form. Families are also welcome to volunteer and participate

with their child(ren) and may request a volunteer application.

Law Enforcement Torch Run Fundraiser

for Special Olympics Oregon!

Law enforcement personnel act as “Celebrity Wait Staff” along with Red Robin wait staff and interact with restaurant patrons.
Tip-A-Cop generates tremendous community goodwill and public awareness for Law Enforcement and Special Olympics.
Tip-A-Cop is a ‘no risk,’ easy and fun way for Law Enforcement to raise money for Special Olympics athletes!
The goal of the 2009 Red Robin “Tip-A-Cop” event is to raise $50,000!
Law Enforcement volunteers do not serve alcohol, however they do assist with a variety of serving duties!
The tips that the officers solicit are in addition to what the customers leave for their regular server.
