Oregon Team Wellness:  Not offered every season

WELLNESS IS A SPORT IN OREGON! – Are you looking for a fun way to get healthier and more fit? Signing up for the Oregon Team Wellness (OTW) program is a great start.

Sessions will involve exercises, stretching and eating healthy all designed to make you an all round healthier athlete. We will have incentives & prizes and good food.

Come join us for 8 sessions and become stronger, more flexible and healthier.
Let’s make Eugene/Springfield the healthiest program in the state!

Fall  Practice Schedule    

Bowling: Mondays or Wednesdays, 4-5:30pm Emerald Lanes starting Aug.26/28
Lottery will be held for spots and you must be able to bowl either day. You will be contacted within a week—do not call the message number or Ted.

Soccer: Tuesdays, 6-7:30pm Willamalane fields,  starting Aug. 27. Shinguards required.

Swimming: Thursdays, 6:30-8pm ‘Splash’ Pool starting Sep. 5.
Moving to Willamalane, Sep. 26, 6-7:30pm.

Unified Indoor Soccer: Sundays, 11:30-12:30, U of O Student Rec. Center. Starting Oct.20
Last day Nov 17. You can sign up for both regular and Unified soccer. You must be 18 years old to participate.

Regional Competitions:
Bowling: Emerald Lanes Virtual Competition, M/W Oct 28/30
Soccer: Springfield, Saturday Nov 2
Swimming: Corvallis, Sunday Oct 27


Polar Plunge:

We are in the planning stage for the 2020 Eugene Polar Plunge.  We don't have the date yet but if you are interested in helping plan, becoming a sponsor for forming a plunge team, please contact us.  We will posting more information on our facebook page as we get it.

Run With The Cops:  We will be hosting our 2nd Annual Run With The Cops towards the end of March 2020.  These details will be posted on our facebook page as well.


Registration Methods:

We are working on sending out registration information by emails now.  It's saving our program a lot of money and it gets to you faster this way.  If you have email and would like to receive information this way, please let us know.

There are several ways you can register for each season.  Please consider registering as soon as you receive your flyer or email.

How to Sign up: Athlete Initial Sign-up Procedure

Your athlete will need to visit his/her doctor to get a Special Olympics medical form signed. Once the signed medical has been returned, your athlete will be on the mailing list and will receive registration information for upcoming seasons as well as the newsletter about other activities happening in the area.

If you have an interest in volunteering with our program, please contact us. We are always looking for coaches, people to help with fundraising or just helping out.  We will guide you through the volunteer registration process. You can email us at: or call the message number.
