WELLNESS IS A SPORT IN OREGON! – Are you looking for a fun way to get healthier and more fit? Signing up for the Oregon Team Wellness (OTW) program is a great start.
Sessions will involve exercises, stretching and eating healthy all designed to make you an all round healthier athlete. We will have incentives & prizes and good food.
Come join us for 8 sessions and become stronger, more flexible and healthier.
Let’s make Eugene/Springfield the healthiest program in the state!
OTW training will be open to athletes with or without partners. Partners can be sister, brothers, friends, coworkers, parents, care providers, etc.
SUMMER PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Track & Field: Sundays, Sheldon High School Track, 4-5:30pm starting Sunday April 10
Bocce: Tuesdays, Willamalane Sports Center (250 S 32nd Spfld) 5:30-7pm starting Tuesday April 12
Golf: Mondays, RiverRidge Golf Center, 5:30-7pm, starting Monday April 18
Softball: Tuesdays, Washington Park 5-8pm depending on team placement, starting Tuesday April 12
Oregon Team Wellness: Wednesdays, Willamalane Sport Center, 6-7:45pm starting Wednesday
Track & Field: Ashland, Southern Oregon University,Saturday June 4. We will leave June 3 at 6pm so please make arrangements to be available.
Bocce: Eugene, North Eugene High School, Saturday June 11
Golf: Eugene, RiverRidge Golf Course, Saturday June 4
Softball: Medford, Saturday June 18. We will be leaving Friday June 17 at 6pm so please make arrangements to be available.
All sports: Newberg July 9-10. We may be leaving Friday July 8 so please make arrangements to be available.
How to Sign up: Athlete Initial Signup Procedure
Your athlete will need to visit his/her doctor to get a Special Olympics medical form signed. Once the signed medical has been returned, your athlete will be on the mailing list and will receive registration information for upcoming seasons as well as the newsletter about other activities happening in the area.
